Ingredients for TPO Roofing

Huber offers a number of product grades for TPO roofing needs:

Zerogen® magnesium hyroxide provides excellent flame-retardance and smoke suppression in thermoplatic olefin (TPO) roofing systems.  To meet your specific hneeds our highly consistent Zerogen products are available in a variety of treated grades.  As well, Huber offers Zerogen products with custom modification packages.

Vertex is a non-toxic, non-corrosive magnesium hydroxide additive.  It is often used in elastomeric and plastic compounds when halogenated or phosphate flame retardant compounds are not suitable.  Vertex does not cross react with hindered amine light stabilizers.  White TPO membranes will not be yellowed by magnesium hydroxide.

Vertex magnesium hydroxide demonstrates consistency that can be backed up with SQC data customized to meet your requirements.

Hubercarb® calcium carbonate is one of the most versatile plastic additives.  In film and molding compounds the benefits are numerous.

Huber's Fairmount, GA wet-grind plant receives a consistent, high purity white marble from our nearby Marble Hill, GA mine.  Coupling this raw material with our modern wet processing capabilities assures that highly uniform and consistent product will enhance performance in polyolefin compounds.
