Calcium Carbonate is used as a cost reducing extender in adhesive products.  It also offers rheology and will reduce shrinkage.  Huber calcium carbonate is available in a wide range of particle sizes produced at any of our three plants located in Quincy IL, Marble Hill GA, and Marble Falls TX. Product lines include:

• Hubercarb® series: High brightness, fine treated powder, multiple manufacturing sites, economical
• Geotex®: Bright white, screened granules, multiple particle sizes, economical 
• Optifil®: High brightness, high purity fine treated powders with low abrasion and silica
• Huberbrite® Barium Sulfate: Chemically inert, high brightness, high density, low surface area barium sulfate

Alumina trihydrate provides smoke suppressance and flame retardance.  Huber ATH products are available in a wide range of surface areas and also provide for improved physical properties.  Huber's treatment capabilities allow the formulator to increase the loading of ATH without building viscosity, also allowing for improved dispersability.  Huber manufactures both precipitated and ground ATH.
