Huber Delighted with Expanded Habitat for Humanity International (HFH) Partnership

As part of J.M. Huber Corporation’s more than 100 years of commitment to community engagement, we are delighted to announce an expanded partnership with Habitat for Humanity International (HFH). Through a combination of financial support, product donation and employee and family/owner volunteerism, we will be partnering with HFH in building homes within the communities where Huber people work and live.

This signature partnering relationship is part of a broader Huber community engagement program operating under the banner of “Huber Helps”. Furthermore, we look forward to this program being deployed as a key component of Huber’s new 5 year sustainability strategy (2018-2022). Learn more by clicking

Introducing the Brightest Calcium Carbonate on the Market Available from Limestone Ore with No Detectable Silica

We are pleased to introduce Hubercarb® W325 ground calcium carbonate, as this product contains a couple of valuable and unique advantages you will definitely find interesting.

First, it’s the perfect low cystalline silica alternative, as this exclusive calcium carbonate grade contains no detectable silica at 0.05% which means NO SDS warning labels.  Secondly, the product is manufactured in Quincy, Illinois from the brightest limestone ore available on the market.  An additional benefit includes a consistent particle size at 13 microns.

While the grade was developed primarily for use in paints, coatings, adhesives, caulks and sealants, it has numerous other application possibilities.  Read all about the newest addition to our comprehensive line-up of ground calcium products by clicking below.  Certainly, you can also Contact Us directly for more information.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Busy Week in The Windy City Exhibiting at IFT18!

Today the windy city of Chicago is living up to its name as a nice summer breeze blows outside along Lake Michigan as IFT18 enters its second day at McCormick Place South.  Situated in booth S1341 at one of our favorite annual stops, we’re busy promoting our HuberCal® calcium carbonate powders for food fortification.

We offer a diverse selection of HuberCal food grade calcium powders with varying particle sizes and typical properties.  Each grade offers a calcium assay of greater than 99 percent and comply with all Food Chemicals Codex requirements.

We’ve had a great time thus far in Chicago and look forward to visiting with IFT18 attendees for the remainder of today and all day tomorrow at McCormick.  For more information on our HuberCal calcium carbonate product portfolio, click on Contact Us or visit our Product Finder below.

Our booth at NPE2018 this week in Orlando has been extremely busy!

We’ve had a fantastic and successful week at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, FL (U.S.) exhibiting at NPE2018.  Held every three years, the week long Plastics Showcase brings together over 60,000 attendees to learn more about the latest breakthrough innovations and game-changing technologies in the plastics industry.

Constant booth activity has offered us the wonderful opportunity to discuss with attendees our comprehensive portfolio of Halogen-Free Fire Retardant Additives, Ground Calcium Carbonate Extenders and Martoxid® TM Thermally Conductive Fillers for a variety of plastics-related applications.

We always look forward to great events like these when we’re able to get out to meet and greet current customers while also introducing and discussing our comprehensive portfolio of specialty engineered materials with attendees who’re interested in learning more about us and our extensive product offerings.

We’ve enjoyed great weather in Orlando all week and look forward to following up with everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to visit with us in the South Hall of the OCCC in booth #S11201.
