Huber Engineered Materials Announces New Technical Brochure On Flow Aids & Carriers

Huber Engineered Materials, part of J.M. Huber Corporation, today announced a new technical brochure that discusses the application of its precipitated silica in anti-caking / free-flow and carrier applications.

The brochure includes technical specifications and typical properties for both food-grade and non-food grade silica.

Precipitated silica is an effective “flow agent” for use in food spices, bake and beverage mixes as well as industrial blends like inks, resins, detergents, coatings and adhesives. Silica can also be used to “carry” viscous liquids and prevent caking on machinery while increasing throughput.
