Huber Scientist To Present Findings On Flame Retardant ATH In Bulk Molding Compounds
ATLANTA, GA., October 02, 2006 — Huber Engineered Materials, part of J.M. Huber Corporation, today announced its presence at this year’s Composites-Polycon trade show will be marked by a key technical paper.
Huber scientist, Gary Rex, will be delivering his study entitled “Flame Retardant Performance of Halogen-Free Alumina Trihydrate (ATH) in a Bulk Molding Compound” during the show. His paper, part of the technical program, will be held October 18 at 1 p.m. Rex’s past research papers have resulted in awards for flame retardant research.
The show – October 17-20 – in St. Louis will also feature Huber’s products for reinforced composites and cast polymer industries. This line-up includes ATH, Granite Elite® granite effect pigments and calcium carbonate fillers.
