Huber Engineered Materials Announces New Release Of Popular Industrial Kaolin Clay Brochure

ATLANTA, July 12, 2007 – Huber Engineered Materials (HEM), part of J.M. Huber Corporation, today announced a second release of its highly-popular technical brochure discussing its kaolin clay for use in industrial applications (non-paper).

“We originally produced the brochure in October 2006 and the piece has been enormously popular among customers and potential customers and has been a key selling tool for our sales team,” says Tom Anderskow, director - sales and service, industrial specialties.  “The brochure will include all the information as before and also feature new easy-to-understand tables on the specific uses of kaolin as a premium extender for rubber, plastics and wire and cable and a comprehensive overview of kaolin grades by particle size and shape.”

In addition to these new visual features, the brochure includes discussion on the importance of brightness, finishing forms and engineering (beneficiation) when selecting a water-washed, delaminated, treated or calcined clay.  Application notes are also included that profile industrial kaolin for use in paint, coatings, ink, adhesives, free-flow-type and crop protection applications.

Customers wanting formulation insight as well as a kaolin processing overview are encouraged to visit http://www.hubermaterials.com and request this revised brochure.
