Adhesives, Caulks and Sealants
- Untreated ATH→SB, HN and Micral® Grades
- Treated ATH→Hymod® Grades
- Molybdates→Kemgard® 911B
Some adhesives, caulks and sealants used for automotive and building material applications are required to meet certain criteria for flame retardance. Alumina Trihydrate (ATH) and Molybdates can be used in place of other minerals to achieve the desired properties. Hymod treated ATH is specifically recommended for silicone sealants.
