HOW RXCIPIENTS GLIDANTS WORK
RxCIPIENTS GL100 and GL200 glidants are precipitated silicas that fill in any irregularities in the other particles in your formulation. This creates a smooth surface that:

• prevents adhesion between particles of different ingredients
• stops cohesion between particles of the same type
• turns sliding friction into rolling friction, letting particles glide past each other for better fluidity.

Because of their superior design, RxCIPIENTS GL series glidants are more effective than colloidal silica, providing both faster and more uniform flow. Better flow means more consistent die fill and less variation in tablet weight.
