Huber Officially Acquires Martinswerk Business

Huber Fire Retardant Additives LogoHuber is excited and proud to announce we’ve acquired the Martinswerk business of Albemarle Corporation.  The comprehensive Martinswerk product portfolio is now officially part of the Fire Retardant Additives (FRA) business unit of Huber Engineered Materials (HEM).

It’s Huber’s largest acquisition in over 10 years, and we’re very pleased to welcome more than 470 new employees to the J.M. Huber Corporation.  Martinswerk is a significant acquisition for Huber, as the purchase continues to strengthen HEM’s halogen-free fire retardant additive business while expanding its worldwide reach.  FRA is now truly a global business.
