Huber’s Martinswerk Business Headline Sponsor of Cables 2016

Huber’s Martinswerk team gathered at Cables 2016 in Cologne, Germany.

Huber’s Martinswerk business was lead sponsor this week of Cables 2016, an event held in Cologne, Germany.  The comprehensive Martinswerk inorganic flame retardant product portfolio is part of Huber Engineered Materials’ Fire Retardant Additives business unit.  Cables 2016 is organized by Applied Market Information (AMI) and helps cable producers keep up with the latest material innovations in the industry.  Cables 2016 was well attended and we very much enjoyed participants visiting our stand to learn more about the Martinswerk/Huber combination, which was the first joint appearance since Huber officially acquired Martinswerk Feb. 1.

Several key high performing Martinswerk and Huber fire retardants were discussed, including:

  • Martinal® Ground and Precipitated Aluminum Hydroxide
  • Magnifin® High Purity Magnesium Hydroxide
  • Micral® Ultrafine Ground Alumina Trihydrate (ATH)
  • Hydral® Precipitated ATH
  • Vertex® Magnesium Hydroxide
