Huber Announces Price Increase for Pergopak® Organic Carriers and Matting Agents

ATLANTA, GA (U.S.), Dec. 21, 2017 – Huber | Martinswerk, part of the Huber Engineered Materials division of J.M. Huber Corporation (Huber), announces a global price increase by an average of eight percent depending on product grade and packaging for its Pergopak® organic carriers and matting agents effective Jan. 2, 2018 or as current contracts allow.

While Huber | Martinswerk continues to focus on minimizing the inflationary impact for its comprehensive line-up of Pergopak products, cost increases in raw material, labor, packaging, regulatory compliance and freight have necessitated this price adjustment.

Huber | Martinswerk produces Pergopak® organic carriers and matting agents, Compalox® specialty oxides and Martoxid® aluminum oxides and is a global leader in the production of fine precipitated alumina trihydrates and magnesium hydroxides, both non-halogenated fire retardants.  Its Fire Retardant Additive (FRA) business has four manufacturing sites in North America and two in Europe.
