Huber Announces Article on its New Spherilex™ Silica Published in PCI Magazine

ATLANTA, GA, February 24, 2017 – Huber Engineered Materials, a division of J.M. Huber Corporation, announces the publication of a recent article in Paints and Coatings Industry (PCI) magazine titled: Spherical Precipitated Silica: Next Generation Particle Morphology for Performance Coatings written by Ron Romer, Applied Technology Manager for Huber’s Silica business.

In addition to providing an overview of the different types of silica and the history of silica usage in paints and coating systems, the article details Huber’s patented Spherilex™ amorphous precipitated spherical silica and silicate technology and how it compares with conventional silica-based fillers and matting agents.
