Huber Announces Price Increase for Precipitated Silica and Silicate Products Manufactured in China

ATLANTA, GA (U.S.), January 24, 2017 – Huber Engineered Materials, a division of J.M. Huber Corporation, announces a price increase for its precipitated silica and silicate produced in China.  The increase is effective March 1, 2017, or as current contracts allow for direct customers and distributors.  The price adjustment of seven percent for China manufactured products has become necessary primarily due to increasing costs in raw materials.
