ATLANTA, GA, January 17, 2024 — J.M. Huber Corporation (Huber) is immensely proud to share that it has been awarded Silver Medal recognition by EcoVadis for our 2023 Sustainability Scorecard. This comes with an elevation in our overall score from last year’s assessment, placing us within the top 18% of the more than 100,000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis annually. This was the second consecutive assessment Huber has received Silver Metal recognition, having been awarded the Bronze Metal recognition for reporting year 2020.

Using international sustainability standards covering 200+ industries and 160+ countries, the EcoVadis platform assesses an organization’s Environmental, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement practices. As a globally recognized assessment platform, this evaluation provides a snapshot of a company’s performance and maturity against global standards and best practices.

“With the eligibility requirements for this year’s Scorecard being more stringent than ever before, our scoring speaks volumes to the quality work we’ve put into our sustainability efforts,” says Jennifer Mason, Executive Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer at Huber. “This score is a valuable metric that provides customers with a heightened level of transparency, strengthening our relationships and their trust in us as a vendor of choice.”

About EcoVadis Medals and Badges
EcoVadis Medals and Badges recognize companies that have gone through the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrated a relatively strong management system that addresses pre-determined sustainability criteria. Medals are awarded to only the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis annually and are based on the percentile rank of a company which is calculated at the time of scorecard publication. It compares a company’s performance with all rated companies within the EcoVadis database over the previous 12 months, and is calculated across all companies in all industries, not per industry.
