Vice President of Safety, Sustainability & Regulatory

Brian Williams joined J.M. Huber Corporation in 2000 in the Huber Engineered Woods business, and became Vice President of Safety, Sustainability & Regulatory of Huber Engineered Materials in 2012.  

In this position, he has Board of Director reporting responsibilities for Safety & Sustainability performance. He acts as the due diligence lead for Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S), Process Safety Management and Risk assessment for Huber’s Mergers & Acquisitions team.  

Throughout his tenure, Brian has held positions in all of Huber’s portfolio companies, including Huber Engineered Woods and Huber Engineered Materials, as well as CP Kelco and Oil & Gas, when these organizations were under Huber’s ownership. 

He has more than 25 years of experience developing and leading strategies that drive cross functional business value and advances in organizational culture within the field of Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability. Prior to joining Huber, Brian was with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division and was a General Manager for a family utility construction business. 

Brian has a BS in Environmental Health Sciences with an Environmental Engineering concentration from The University of Georgia and a ME with a concentration in Advanced Engineering and Management from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He also holds various related certification in the field.
