More than 2,500 people around the world are drawn together by Huber’s unique culture, one that promotes collaboration, innovation, adaptation and business resiliency. Regardless of where they are in the world, Huber Engineered Materials people enjoy a nurturing, diverse and inclusive work environment, with formal and informal opportunities to grow. Our goal is to develop employees and provide clear pathways for growth, no matter what stage of their careers.
Early career
For employees who are interested in becoming people managers for the first time, a proven program focuses on leadership topics including, but not limited to: strategic planning, conflict management and personal presence. Participants dedicate time to the program and are rewarded with valuable skills that will serve them well for the length of their careers.
We also offer a global mentoring program designed to be mutually beneficial for the mentor, mentee and Huber when participants join with an open mind, an eagerness to learn and willingness to trust and share.
Leadership and development
Huber invests in our talent to ensure we are preparing future leaders. We have succession planning in place for key roles, regularly identify and develop talent, and continually assess skills to ensure future success. As part of this approach, we have numerous advanced talent development programs across the company that employees are selected by senior management to participate in, including:
- A continuing education program for leaders to keep their skills sharp and strengthen their abilities to move the business forward.
- A comprehensive program aimed at developing the company’s top future leaders across the enterprise.
- An accelerator track for employees identified and interested in becoming directors and managers.
Engineering development
In the US, high-potential engineering graduates are offered the opportunity to complete rigorous rotations at select Huber Engineered Materials sites. Throughout their postings, they learn more about our manufacturing operations, processes and project engineering, as well as our commitments to continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability. At the end of each cohort’s final cycle, the individuals bring their knowledge to permanent placements at a participating site based on local needs and the employee’s skillset.
