John Yagel
Vice President of Continuous Improvement, Capital Expenditure & Innovation
John Yagel joined Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) in the summer of 2018 to lead the organization through a journey of Continuous Improvement. Since then, John’s role has expanded to also include the functional areas of capital implementation and innovation excellence for HEM.
John is a global operations leader with more than 30 years of experience and demonstrated success in the chemicals and materials industry. He has been in various operations leadership roles with companies such as, Dow Chemical, WR Grace and Valspar Paints and Coatings.
With a strong passion for improving performance in operations, John’s professional experience includes areas like productivity, capital investments, engineering, asset utilization, reliability, quality and industrial control systems.
John received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
