Michael Mullis 

Michael Mullis joined Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) in October of 2022 as the Vice President of IT and Chief Information Officer to execute HEM’s business unit IT strategies, align with Huber’s enterprise IT team and set operational goals.   

Michael possesses more than 30 years of international IT leadership experience gained while working across multiple business sectors, including Government, Human Resources, Consumer Packaged Goods and Industrial Manufacturing (Chemicals, Mining, Metals and Agricultural Solutions). 

Prior to joining J.M. Huber Corporation, Michael worked for 6.5 years as VP & CIO at Ingevity, a global specialty chemicals company headquartered in Charleston, SC.  Before Ingevity, Michael worked in Atlanta at Novelis, as IT Director, Global Technology Programs, where he was responsible for leading a global SAP and Manufacturing Execution System business transformation program.  Prior to Novelis, Michael held IT leadership roles at several Fortune 100 Companies, including Campbell Soup Company, Kraft Foods and Altria, as well as consulting roles with companies such as Deloitte. 

Michael studied in Australia at the University of Canberra, where he attained a BA in Administration and a Graduate degree in Information Systems.
